Ruben Parker, along with every monster in Dingleton is excited about Bumbleween. Glowing skulls and dancing spiders are just some of the decorations one can expect to see around town as this festive and spooky season approaches. Ruben is certain his family will win the annual Bumbleween House Decoration Contest. But, it has been a rough year for the Parkers and they can’t afford to buy new decorations. One day after school Ruben comes home to a surprise that may change everything. Michelle Liter rekindled her love of children’s books while raising and homeschooling her three children. Those books became lasting memories of her experience, their favorites reminding her of those cherished times together. A graphic designer in her past life and a lifetime lover of painting and drawing, Michelle decided to focus on writing and illustrating her own creations when her kids grew older. She creates stories with meaningful lessons about the tender moments in life that catch you by surprise. She lives south of Nashville, TN with her husband, three kids, a lazy dog, and a rebellious cat. She enjoys eating wings with her friends, collecting art from different cultures and playing music with her husband.
